Anyone who has seen Furious 7 knows it’s amazing, and now we’ve got the numbers to back it up. Before opening weekend is even over, Furious 7 has already raked in $143.6 million in North America and $240.4 million in foreign markets. The film soundly defeated the previous April record-holder, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which took in a paltry $95 million last year.

The New York Times reported that by the time it leaves theaters, Furious 7 could take in over $1 billion. With a B.
