
Bad news for America: we won't be racing in F1 this weekend at the Belgian Grand Prix.
As Autosport confirms, backmarker Marussia team announced today that they're reinstating their dull but consistent pay driver Max Chilton (pictured above, left). That means American Alexander Rossi (pictured above, right) just got booted from his race seat.

The word around the F1 scene is that Max Chilton's dad's check finally cleared.
I think it's fair to say Marussia should be straight up CIA manhunt James Cagney Public Enemy number one status right now.

its unfortunate that this is really the ugly side of racing. Its not just F1. its all of racing. I keep dreaming about a time when sponsorship money comes flooding back in and TV ratings go through the roof and the best talent get the seats they deserve. but, its unlikely to see that in any racing league again, ever.
