Not impressed with race-bred diesels? BMW Motorsport is also prepping a track-ready Z4 M Coupe in which the speed-hungry idle wealthy can scare themselves back to Westport. The M-Sport engineers stripped out all that pesky street-legal hardware, turning the 3.2-liter six into a 400-hp monster, and glommed suspension parts from the M3 GTR racer for extra trackability. What price all this leisure? A cool $300,000, not including donor car or change of Barneys silk underwear.
