Warning: this post is not for the faint of heart.

Imagine all of your dream race cars: from Formula 1 to the WRC to Le Mans, from just about every era. Now imagine them sitting in fields, covered in dirt, rusting away. That's what you'll find on motoresanu.blogspot.it's post "Motores Despidos."

See part one right here and part two right here.

There's a Ferrari 250 GTO, a Shelby Daytona Coupe, a Peugeot 905, a Lancia Stratos or two, a prewar Bugatti, an IMSA RX7 and just about everything else you can imagine.

Some of these cars have been restored (most notably that 250 GTO and the Daytona Coupe), but many are surely in the great scrapheap in the sky.

Try and hold back the tears.

(Thanks to everyone for the tips!)

I know the story behind this one:

This IS-F was built by Brian Fox Marketing for SEMA in '11, I believe. Supercharged and all. My buddy Dan Jenkins did a shoot with it, badass build, but because it was a show car and never had a title, it had to be destroyed within 6 months of the show date. And the only things they could take with them were the wheels...The supercharged V8 is still siting in that thing.
