Dodge Is Helping Jeff Dunham Build His Own Custom Challenger

Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is a Mopar fan and he's famous, so Dodge went and helped him build a custom Challenger. He decided to document the whole thing in a couple of webisodes and do some burnouts too.

We don't know how many episodes will be in the series, but seeing a guy get a free six-speed SRT8 to thrash and customize is pretty great. The whole build is taking six weeks and we should see the finished project at SEMA at the end of the month. Dodge isn't building the car for Jeff, but they're providing him and his shop design and parts support.

If it's twice as fast as he is funny, it should give a Smart EV a run for its money.

Greetings, gentlemen... I'm sitting here trying to find the worst trashing comment of me to respond to, but there's too many to choose from! But all that aside, I honestly think most of you will be impressed with the vehicle when it's finished. Some really talented folks are working to build the car, (Palmers Custom Paint & Body) and the design is a blend of what a few of us think a Challenger should be like if more retro were mixed with modern technology. Also, the car is a way to present Chrysler's new engine, which will be announced at SEMA on Oct 30th. I realize my comedy isn't for everyone, but give this car a good look when we finish... If you like 70's Muscle, I'll be surprised if you don't dig this machine. Jeff Dunham
