Ferrari isn't going to offer manual transmissions on its new cars. Would you give them up for a 458 Italia?

Welcome to Morning Would, where we present you with some of the most desirable, controversial cars ever built and ask what you would do to drive one.

Automated manual dual-clutch hyper-drive things are much faster than you are, you stupid sack of meat. They have launch control, they never hesitate, and they never make mistakes. Ignore the fact that they take a lot of the fun out of driving a sports car, and they're perfect! Because all that matters is your 0-60 time, right?

At least that's what Ferrari thinks, as they're giving up on the row-your-own. Would you do the same for their 458 Italia? Get a free Ferrari, but you'll never have the pleasure of driving with three pedals again. Can you do it?

Let us know your fateful choice down below.

Ferrari (and Lamborghini)'s success with the paddle shifters is only one more sign that manual transmissions as we know them are a thing of the past. Like it or not (I don't), this is what modern-day cars are. BMW doesn't even offer anything with a stick anymore.

To answer the question, I'd give up a lot more than a stick shift to get my hands on a 458.
