The UK's Transport Secretary, Alistair Darling (man, they just don't make names like that anymore), has decreed that by 2010, the United Kingdom will consume 5% of its gas and diesel in the form of biofuel. Known as the Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation (how veddy British, that), the decree has some biofuels suppliers in a hippy-dippy delirium and other enviro-types bitching that it's Simply. Not.
