Excuse me, is this the express bus? Volkswagen, perhaps inspired by the crop of tuner Touaregs hitting the autobahn lately, just launched the 450hp, W12 version of its Touareg SUV it had announced earlier this year. The Touareg Special Edition sports the same 6.0-liter 12-zylinder mill as the VW Phaeton, but tweaked to produce an additional 30hp, tying it with the Porsche Cayenne turbo as the most powerful stock SUV, and 443 ft-lbs. of torque. The Tiptronic-enabled SUV rides on 20" rims, and zero to 62 mph takes 5.9 seconds. (Top speed is, of course, nanny-blocked at 155 mph.) It's available now in Germany for the equivalent of around $114,000.
