The lab-coated wonders at German tuning house, TechArt, announced they're bringing a new 600hp Cayenne, the Magnum, to Frankfurt next week. With its 637 ft-lbs. of torque, the SUV can do some serious damage to the city of auto-show fame, say, by dragging Hamburger Allee up over the Senckenberganlage. Either that, or just by propelling the Porsche to 62mph in 4.5 seconds, and on to a top speed of 181mph — despite it having the aerodynamic profile of a bag of laundry. How did they do it? The short answer involves twin turbochargers the size of jet engines, a high-performance intercooler, a decidedly un-stock intake manifold and a reprogrammed engine management system. The long answer will likely be told in a week or so.
