Our pal Jason Kidd from Flyrite Choppers had a plan. He was gonna take a Model A coupe, channel it, drop in a flathead with vintage Navarro heads, and drive from Austin, TX, it to the West Coast Kustoms show in Paso Robles, California. Sadly, car wasn't done in time, but Kidd went anyway. Because if you're a gearhead, Paso is simply the place to be Memorial Day Weekend. Known as one of the premier outdoor car shows in the nation, it's stuffed to the gills with the finest in traditional rod and custom finery. Rod and Custom was there. We weren't. Woe to us.
