A lot of hot rodding types like to call the Fox-bodied Mustang "the modern '55 Chevy." That's akin to calling Hilary Duff "the Modern Audrey Hepburn." While the Fox 'Stang is a serviceable, utilitarian car that can be made to go really fast for relatively little investment, the '55 Chevy's got class and panache. A revolution when it debuted, it brought with it the all-important Chevy small block. GM recently celebrated the car's golden anniversary with a show at their Warren, MI Tech Center, inviting all Chevrolet vehicles from 1955 through 1972. The Detroit News has the story.
