Those who thought Cadillac was going global just to use its airline miles may be shocked to find it could be serious after all. Having registered the trademarks BLW and BLC, Cadillac is leading some to speculate it's preparing additional (read: wagon and coupe) variants of its small, europe-only BLS, set for production next year. Considering GM's (and, uh, every other carmaker's) desire to expand Europe's small-SUV market beyond a handful of RAV4s and 50,000 Apes, a BLX sport SUV, based on the Saturn VUE/Chevy Equinox architecture, could also see daylight.
