Car-loving carpenters who dabble in fiberglass production can slap together a Vortex using stuff from Home Depot, and have it running by this fall. The 1980's vintage DIY car uses a monocoque chassis design made from ply (!) and fiberglass, the body is a foam-filled composite structure layered with fiberglass and the suspension is linked to metal subframes. The three-wheeler can be fitted with motorcycle engine (hello, Hayabusa) or an electric motor. Get the plans here.
