Recently, we were asked if we'd been fans of the CARToons series of comic books. We had to admit we'd seen an issue once, back in the days of Coleco football. We think we remember the cover cartoon being of a guy dressed in hippy garb trying to lure a rollerdisco chick into a customized Dodge van (or maybe we saw that in a mescaline dream). Either way, our local drugstore didn't carry any of the CARToons mags, so our story ends there, as the CarToons saga did in 1991. We wonder what the moral-values lobby would think of CT's outsized bazooms and incitement to run amok if it were still around. Anyone want to start a magazine?
