All of the prettiest Aston Martins were designed by Italians. The DB4, DB5, and DB6 were famously styled by Carrozzeria Touring. But Touring isn't the only Italian coachbuilder to have a long history with Aston. The other is Zagato, and its creations are breathtaking.

The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato wasn't just a standard coachbuild for Zagato, however. The car was lightened and shortened, and the engine was made more powerful. Sure, it's 0-60 time of 6.1 seconds may not sound like much today, but back in the early 1960s that was plenty quick.

Only 20 were made, which is a damn shame for such a gorgeous Italian and British composition.
