Actually, most if not all of the "rogue, awesome sportscar companies" failed to confront the economic realities of what it costs to develop new cars in today's regulatory and consumer environment. In a world where even spororts cars have to meet crash regs., and are expected to actually start on demand, companies can either find acillary volume models to help pay the bills or become completely unattainable like Ferrari, Pagani, Konigsegg.

Kudos to Porsche for finding a way to thrive in a competitive market while still giving enthusiasts stirring sports cars at price points that allow successful people without trust funds to attain them.

If putting their badge on some SUVs keeps their sports models within reach of more people, then I wish them all the success in the world with their trucks.

Scientists are warning of an outbreak of CUVorrhea. A disease that affects the minds of Automotive designers, it leads to useless vehicles which nobody wants.

Be careful, as this disease spreads rapidly and can quickly infiltrate your local automaker.

The origins of this disease are still being debated, but "top scientists" believe it can be traced back to Dearborn, Michigan when an designer accidentally sent his renderings of the Ford Edge to the engineering team. This quickly led to an outbreak that spread to other areas of the state.

CDC officials believed it was contained, however, versions of the disease have been seen in Germany and parts of Asia.

The German strain is interesting in that it has the normal symptoms, as seen in the United States, yet the afflicted seems to have increased aigility and athleticism over the American counterpart. This is still being studied and we expect a report as to why, within the next 45 years.

The Asian strain has a variation that, in addition to the American sypmtoms, also causes the appearance of the afflicted to (sic)"be looking weird as hell..."

Hopefully we can get this under control soon. In the meantime, we urge you to stay away from and and all vehicles that look to be afflicted with CUVorrhea.
