I arrived at my destination, for some reason opened the hood, and woke the cat that was napping peacefully in the tiny bit of space that isn't taken up by engine. It took off never to be seen again.

They are generally very attentive to their owners, intelligent, and healthy. However, if not trained properly, these particular terriers become a nightmare.

Sadly, many people who buy them do so only for the macho image. They're generally the sorts of people who should be sticking to spaniels. Or pet rocks.

As I current pit-bull owner, I can attest to the amazing predicaments that these dogs can create. You have to laugh--it's either that or cry when you're paying the vet bills. They're reasonably intelligent, and incredibly tenacious. Which has some occasionally funny results.
