OH YEAH! So, I finally got hold of a selection of my dad's old toy cars (my grandma's house is a museum of the 1960s), and promptly left them at my parents' house. However, I got this picture:

Left to right: Unimog, MB W112 coupe, MB W110 Binz ambulance, three MB Pagoda SL's, a Citroen ID Break, and a Citroen SM

I showed this to a buddy of mine, and he asked, "what kind of little kid is in a toy store, and says, 'I want the Citroen!'?" It turns out, that would be my dad.

With Alfa returning to the US, Citroen should be just around the corner. Of course, the corner is at the year 2078, but it's there.

The SM isn't pleasing to my eye in the way a 3rd gen RX-7 is, but the shape is so unique, so well fashioned, that I'm forced to appreciate and respect it, even if I don't think it's pretty.

Needs a new fuel pump, the owner says. He bought it off a lawyer a while ago. Drives it on the weekends for fun. Would've shown me the interior and engine if he'd had the keys on him (this was at his shop). I'll cruise by again one of these days and see if I can some engine shots for you, rognbrow.
