I know a guy who drives a Prius and he's never once been smug about mileage.

What I have encountered virtually every time I'm driving at night is pickups and SUVs riding up on my ass in the right lane and flooding my entire car with their headlights, to the point where I'm amazed I can't see my skeleton cast a shadow.

As part of my job, I drive a whole goddamn lot. I am intimately familiar with a vast array of rentacars and tomorrow I'm going to drive for about 12 hours over maybe 400-500 miles. These two phenomenae--SUV/pickup drivers being pricks with their headlights and Prius drivers not doing anything in particular that is objectionable--have held true for every single one of my road trips.

Due to this I am forced to conclude that Prius drivers are perfectly capable, competent, and safe, while owners of SUVs and pickups are assholes who don't know how the passing lanes up. Again, I do a lot of driving, and on my trips I average at least 300 miles of highway and city driving a day.

What anecdotal evidence do you guys form your biases on?

I hate the H2 as a pedestrian. If you want a huge, insane car, get an M5 Touring in purple-green chameleon paint. At least you can see over and around the M5, and even more importantly, the driver can see you.

Besides, the H2 is just a rather poor SUV with an extra ton of useless weight added. It's a horrible offroader.
