Ford did a IRS on the 03-04 Cobra. It was not so good and lots of 03-04 cobra's have left parts from the rear end on the pavement. I believe they took the design from Mazda.

You know, I too am getting fed up with all the thousands of "special edition" Mustangs that are out there... but all you have to do is go back to the main page, and look at the photos for this article and the one below it. Then you realize, live rear axle or not, the retro Mustang is still a better looking car, even a few years into production, than the retro Camaro, which hasn't even hit the market yet.

Does this mean that there isn't going to be a remake of the series after all? Great! This made for TV movie was bad, very bad, with some of the worst acting ever! So I guess there's space that opened up on the NBC schedule for, what, another "deal or no deal" type of game show? Frankly, I don't know what is worse.....

My guess is that the show will go forward but they will use a 2009/10 updated Mustang for the series rather than the Mustnags from pilot.

@graverobber: OK, so if the Mustang jumps over a Tiburon--wait, did Hyundai really mean for it be shark? Why would a Korean company use a Spanish word for shark on a model selling in American and presumably other non-Spanish speaking countries as well? Well, we had Sting Rays and 'Cudas and most of the other animal names are predators or wild and aggressive beasts like Cougar and Jag and Eagle and of course, Mustang--oh, wait. i noticed that the "attack mode" version didn't even have that kinda-cool pop-up metal shifter... it just had the factory automatic gear selector (the entire interior actually looked stock, but then again, if you look at the movie-car interior that's a plus.).

wonder how many proper original KITT replicas you could build for 300K?
