I own only 2 of the Transformer figures from the new movies: Barricade and Ironhide. And yes, I'm an adult (age-wise anyway). I just think those two were the baddest bad asses in the whole movie.

Without being able to see the interiors to see how stripped they are, I would guess they might be second unit cars. Possibly they are getting outfitted with the requisite roll bars/safety equipment, and that all important dark tint for the windows.
