Also, my outback (legacy, jacked up, with extra plastic bits yeah, i know) does have some really nice sound in the first place. I'm not so sure H/K is going to be 'amazing' compared to the stock audio unless they decide to start going ultra-cheap from this point forward on the stock audio.

This will, of course, be after Harmon/Kardon exists the consumer audio market sometime in the 2020s and the brand reappears on cheap Chinese stereos at Wal-Mart.

Six speakers of sheer bliss (destroys the ten speaker HD setup in the second gen). I could stand a scosche more low end but am not complaining. It kills any Bose (do they even have a reputation for quality anymore) system I've ever heard. The only non-H/K system I've heard that tops mine is the Mark Levinson for Lexus (sheer perfection).

Kudos to Subaru for wanting to improve quality and choosing more than just a name.
