Even people who can't afford one, or who will never in their lives be able to drive one, may have some interest in the cars as esoteric objects of desire. But issuing a 'press release' on cars with an average price of $456,475.00 (yes I did the math) when in fact nothing new about them is mentioned, and even having the audacity to include such stratospheric prices in the text, simply irritates people. For one thing, those who would buy these cars KNOW what they cost. For another, those who lust after them, like sweet stories of their superlative features and excesses, which they didn't get. And lastly, if you have nothing new to say, then the press doesn't need to hear about it. Porsche really doesn't need any press anyway. So why did they bother? I'm flummoxed.
