It's much better full size.

The sound may have been harsh because the source material was a bit old but I'd have to hear a more modern movie on their system to really develop an opinion.

The Geo made it back in one piece. I had plenty of time to wonder if the weird vibration is the new used tire or one of the many blown struts. Because the radio doesn't work either.

I'd definitely recommend the Redford theatre to anybody in the Detroit area if they're playing a classic movie you are interested in. The building is really something and tickets are only $4.

The Redford Theater is really cool. I am definitely plan on going to other movies there.

BTW, did anyone else find the airport scene to be way too loud with the jet noise? I had to cover my ears.

I recommend getting there at 7:30pm - that's when the organ music starts, with the star spangled banner. It gives you a chance to look around the theatre too. Plus, it is the best chance to park in the lot right next to the theatre, for as short a walk as possible - it's not a great neighborhood. Because of that I recommend you get a very good idea of where you are going ahead of time, it would not be fun to get lost.

Detroit has a HUGE variety of restaurants, but there are areas of barren eating wasteland - specifically the area the theater is in. If you go downtown or up to Ferndale or Royal Oak there are great places to eat. My favorites downtown are Jacoby's and Detroit Brewery. Royal Oak/Ferndale area have to be Toast, Fly Trap, Como's, Thai Cafe, Little Tree, and Memphis Smoke

Now that I think about it, there is a great middle eastern place not too far from the theater just west of telegraph on warren road - can't remember the name, but its like a hundred yards off of telegraph on the north side of the street. That's where the cops eat so judge as you will.

The tires were low and the spare (donut) is showing wear bars. Are you supposed to drive that far on a donut? Hey, I've only had it a month and I just got heat dammit. It's been cold. I had visitors. I was abducted by aliens. I was busy. I think there's plum sauce in the spare tire well too. I didn't taste it but that's what it looks like.

I leave work yesterday and have a blowout about a 1/4 mile from work. I change the tire in a tire store parking lot because they're already closed. Drive home and back to work on the tired donut (40 miles). Drop the car off at the tire store I changed the damn tire at twelve hours ago.

Tire can't be fixed. I have a crappy used tire put on it but now I need a decent spare (because I'm running the 96/696 interchange gauntlet). I call a junkyard and they'll sell me a wheel and tire for $35.

I get there and the tire has a nail in it but they'll put a plug in it and it should hold air. So I've got a full size crappy tire and a donut crappy tire and I'm making a run for it in a crappy car.

See you there! (god willing and the creek don't rise) I'm going for Hawaiian because I don't have an Enzo shirt or any sense.
