leave this guy alone. when he commits a crime, then he will deal with it... but until then its nothing more then a car customization.

Yeah if you say "POLICE" on you're car, you are impersonating a police officer. It doesn't matter what else it says, or if a light bar is real or fake. You're telling people you're the police and that's very illegal. It's the same if you wore a police uniform out in public but never actually tried to arrest someone. Cars made for movies are just that, try it privately and they are going to get their fangs out over it. I'm sorry but making it for someone who served in Iraq isn't enough of an excuse for impersonating a police officer. That's just not a good enough reason to trick people and break the law.

Thing that bugged me the most - how incredibly inaccurate the word "POLICE" on the side is in regards to proportion and size as compared to the screen car.

The reason, overly tinted glass. I seller of that car warned us of the several occasions she got pulled over by packs of cops because of the dual spotlights.

Back in the decideddly 'colorful' late 60's in Manhattan Beach, CA; I helped a friend 'Policeize' A mid 50's Chevy 4-door sedan, which had started out all white. We painted the front and rear black and a funky star on each front door with a cartoon pig flipping the bird, over the word FUZZ. The icing on the cake was a real working gumball machine bolted to the center of the roof.

The local South Bay cops got a kick out of it, and would pull him over, drop a penny in the gumball get a piece of bubble gum and wave him on. We quickly learned not to take it to Sunset Strip tho', those Ramparts cops got NO sense of humor.
