i have a friend who has already done this.... the 'handle' ends of his silverware were too small for his calloused and mostly numb hands to grip... though he still turns wrenches for a living..

so.. the wife's "old flatware" was mated to broken wrenches via skillfull welding... most of them have left and right(intentional) (slight) angles... which make them even easier to grip...
