@dylanseals: The problem with the Euro Civic is that it is based on the Fit/Jazz platform, while the US-Japan-Aus Civic sedan has a unique platform, and is apparently a better, if more boring to look at, car.

ARG! i want THAT Honda DUDES!!! My wife and I lived in Europe for a few years, this car to her supposedly has SUCKY suspension... well it would especially in her Pot hole filled country, anyhow this is a great little car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honeywell is sweet, they invented variable geometry in 1991. Today well over half of Europe's fleet has a turbocharger (diesel and gas). Guess who makes most of those? I've seen their cars cruising around Detroit. The diesels are coming. 330d is actually better than 335d--330d you can get with a manual, not so the 335d, plus the 330d is more efficient. Check out Car and Driver's piece on the 330d from Sept. 06. Proof is in the pudding: 155 mph, mid-30s mpg. What's not to love (besides that you can't get it here?)

@jrlombard: Because there is more carbon output per gallon of diesel, diesels barely (if at all) reduce carbon emissions compared to a good turbo gas engine. In addition they, no matter how clean, emit more carcinogens than gas engines, which is a much more immediate threat to humans than global warming.

Way cool! Can you please do a side-by-side comparison of the Euro Honda Wedgie and a U.S. -spec Civic Hybrid? I'd like to see how they stack up in terms of space, visibility, efficiency, etc...

As for the Audi- Meh. Put the 4.2 in the A4, the we'll talk. That Tourag in drag is way too big and bulky.
