There's a white-red wire all ready to roll behind the dash. Get one from ebay, you might even find the big tach - small clock set, installation is just plug and play with a philips head screwdriver.

Since you probably don't want to strip your car's interior down to bare metal and rig up a crude all-junkyard instrument panel, I suggest heading to eBay and picking up a 240 cluster with a factory tach- here's one for $49 Buy It Now. Should swap right in, provided your car's harness is set up for a tach option.

The oil crisis freaked the French out though, and they decided to hack two cylinders off the motor. End result, PRV V6 and an engine bay big enough for the VW inline diesel six.
