you know, the whole thing about these built in infotainment/nav things has me wondering... remember when mobile phones first came out and you could get then in your car (only if you were a baller, of course, and cool with it)? and then 18 months later, it was like, WTF is that in your car as you you looked down at the huge clunky contraption? is it not going to be the same now with these things? there are always going to be better portable units appearing on the market (with all the benefits of being portable!) and your built-in is going to look shitty within a couple of years.
of course, the car and gadget manufacturers don't care - either way you're going to but more often.

The Infotaiment and the Entertainment are way different, Infotaiment comes with Nav, U -Connect and some other goodies, while the Entertainment is just, wel.....entertaining.

the mygig's LCD screen actually clouded over when I was testing it in -10 weather. the Ford Edge and Mercury sable I tested in similar weather did not. The mygig cleared up in about 30 minutes.

I've wondered why these hard drives can be used even in the dead of winter, say when you first climb in your car when it's -23c/10 below. Why no head crashes or uh-oh chirps?
