@no_slushbox: True; which brings to mind another point. I always confuse Nissan and Suzuki these days. They both matter about equally little to me, and I have a slight lisp, so they are both equally hard to say. Past the Samuri, I frankly don't care.

While the styling is horrifically boring, it does bring to mind a new rule; this takes it in the right direction.

If you're going to be all marketing-BS like and have a dirt bike in the back of your show truck, the bike MUST be made by the same company as the truck.

The Frontier (and now this) have taken the place in my mind that previous-gen Toyotas used to.

Damn...flat green is sexy (and repairable with supplies from your local hardware store).

No details, but if it comes with the 240-somethign HP V6 and rear locker of the Frontier, but a vinyl interior...that'd be a sweet truck.

Meh. Give it to the hoons in Jersey who had the Sidekick and see how much air they can get. Then we can make an informed decision. The trim is just a wee bit overdone. Looks like a commercial vehicle--lilke for a paintball emporium.

This, like the Frontier, seems to be available only with a suspension made for off road driving. Which I will never do. I really wish that buying a truck wasn't as much a fashion statement as a vehicle purchase.

@FightingChance: To answer the Chicken Tariff, there is no way in hell of repealing it right now, and probably not ever is there is a regime change in DC. I asked about this with the Ford Transit reveal, since Daimler has to import Sprinters incomplete to get around the tax.
