@arowsell: I was worrying about that a couple of weeks ago in a comment. The vertical up over the fender/heading for the A pillar and down on the side of the fender head lights have just become a cliche--and give you the impression they are pointing straight up like searchlights. That's why some of the new kids the Mustang and Challenger and Camaro look good--headlights below hood, where god intended them.
I do have a question, though--I've noticed some headlights at night that look like four--with two VERY close together. They seem for all the world like high beams but I'm not sure. What are those? I've seen them on vans and trucks so far.
