Also, there's a lot of parents who aren't ready to explain to their 8 year old girl what they are looking at in traffic. It's a really obnoxious thing to push on everyone with kids (girls) in the car who see that.
This isn't free speech, this is showing a nutsack to everyone on the road. Kids should have time to be kids before little girls have to see this just because they are being driven somewhere.

If you think this is a good idea, or first amendment speech, or anything other than a screw you to society and young girls who aren't ready to learn about it yet, then you're way off base. It's like nobody posting so far has a young daughter.

And as far as the tax write-off portion for people who drive for a living... that's just one more piece of bureaucracy to put in place, the cost of which will take up the tax revenue we made with that tax in the first place. So now we're paying a tax simply to maintain the tax. It gets crazy really quickly.

From what the article said, it would be as if they said, "no gas tax for the first 50 gallons per month... after that we're going to start taxing you." Since the tax is an equal percentage, it is fair to everyone.

Of course, I think a flat-percentage income tax without deductions/loopholes is fair as well... so I'm sure many would disagree with my positions. :)
