It's a performance miracle for the money, but it doesn't matter what way you slice it, it's still a Corvette. Also, what's with the grey? Are they trying to beat the Germans at their own game? What about those blue brake calipers? Are we getting a Vauxhall VXR-badged version on this side of the pond?

@Novaload: I couldn't disagree more, nobody seems more appropriate than Kid Rock for this car. Loud, over-the-top, brashly American, and leaving track marks everywhere it goes.

Having a severe aversion to flash in automobiles, but truly enjoying a Q-ship, this ZR1 works for me...if I could convince myself it's not too flashy.

I like vehicles like the 300C SRT-8 and the Grand Cherokee version housing the same engine, albeit with a hard-core AWD setup.

come on guys! by almost ten at night i figured you would have grabbed my interest w/something interesting... instead of a few pics that weren't that great.. and no commentary to boot.

me thinks i should have driven the six hrs. up to detroit myself and commented aloud and hoped one of you paid (lucky) bastards were around to hear it..............

i'm somewhat disappointed.. but will continue to check the site throughout the night! (and from here to eternity.. b/c the staff and commenters here rule the carblog world... as far as i'm concerned)
