However, E85 also has a higher octane than pump gas (it's in the 105-110 range, I think) which allows higher boost, higher compression, more advanced ignition timing... the performance possibilities are still being explored. Too bad it's just a bunch of smoke and mirrors to fool the rubes in Iowa.
