- Doubt this styling will be DOA.
- Always happens with anticipated cars that there's the initial "gotta-have-ums" followed by stable sales. "Spike, then fall" is hardly revelatory.
- Yeah, sales will fall. To fleet levels? Tad bit doom and gloom there, don't ya think?
- The generation loyal to this model is still active in emotionally driven car buying. While the heat is off the muscle car redux market, there's sufficient potential in this chassis, styling, and genre to give it a lifespan longer than you propose. Multiple engines, a convertible, the (admittedly market-driven) various packages, inevitable aftermarket products, etc. will help bolster sales for some time. For those who want an alternative to the 'Stang and who can't get into 'Vette's, this car is a pretty decent answer. I wouldn't discount it yet. Your comments are more aptly directed to the Malibu than the Camaro.
