Given it started it's 'life' as an X-19, I hate to say this, but it's not bad.

I'm not saying that I like it, or to be complimentary, but the X-19 was such a complete POS to begin with, and rather hideous to boot, this should have turned out to be covered in polka-dot fur, or something like that.

I do have to wonder how much LSD was consumed during this project. I like the Tornado transaxle...we can only hope a tornado shreds it to bits....

It reminds me of Inspector Clouseau's "Green Hornet"-- which was a modified homemade deaux chevaux--and once it got rolling wings and frills and other bits just started dropping off it.
Although I was intrigued with the "rough idle, big camshaft"--which could also cause the car to rattle itself to death in neutral. Like some prospective buyer would say, you know, I really like what you've done here, but it idles rough--does it need a tune up? Otherwise, it's just perfect.

@eltonito: So whats the harm? Art is in the eye of the beholder. Dude wanted a race car, got some junk and tried to make one. A few thousand hours later, he has this thing.. I dont love it, wouldn't own it, but i'm not going to waste my bandwidth trying to feel superior to dude.

A lot of these put down, so clever comments are "Look at this lower class peon aping his betters, when if he had chosen better parents, he could have a garage full of real race cars."

Skroom. Fiats and SBC's are in no shortage, and i agree that a few grand is a fair price for this, but not my call. If he tried to race it, that would be a problem for the Tech Committee, but not my problem either. eBay is the classically perfect free market, so maybe somebody will bite for a few grand, and dude can by more junk an make a better one..

And i have two uglier things in my driveway right now. WTFGAF.

Wow. This is the second time I've seen this thing up for sale on eBay - when you see something this gruesome it's not easily forgotten. I guess it never sold the first time or the old owner came down from his killer high and realized what he had bought.
