@rexplex: Would anyone like my input. I used to represent these before I went to work for Nissan Diesel America. These are great vehicles, and are currently being marketed at Dodge, AND Freightliner Dealers. Freightliner is owned by Daimler Commercial Vehicles. Freightliner has in it's current portfolio Freightliner Trucks, Sterling Trucks, Western Stat Trucks, Kassboher Buses, Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks, and Thomas School Bus. The sold off the American LaFrance Firetruck Division last year to purchase Mitsubishi Fuso. The Sprinter will continue to be marketed by Freightliner in this country when Dodge loses them in 5 years.

Yeah, when I see a box on wheels, a breadtruck looking vehicle, bookmobile--the first word I think of is "Sprinter."

Love that van. I think that the fuel economy & exterior dimensions make it the best city delivery truck on the road in the US. Probably make for a brilliant RV w/ the high roof option.
Curious to see if it ends up at Mercedes dealerships now that the happy couple is no more.

Our parts service had a Sprinter. It was actually pretty good. Only thing they really disliked about it was that the dashboard would tend to disintegrate.

And the fact it had a Mercedes badge and we were a BMW dealership....

No way my friend. The studio I used to work for had a long wheelbase one ton Sprinter with the extended roof and a Benz diesel in it. It was the perfect grip vehicle. Relatively comfortable on the long haul, miserly with the fuel, and had an incredibly small turning radius. It was, quite possibly, the perfect grip vehicle.
