As noted above (though less pointedly) - the purpose of the camouflage on a pre-production car is simply to hide the detail. Of course, you can still pick out the general shape if you analyze it enough. However, the pattern breaks up any light/shadow that could give away the exact body lines.

The swirls throw your eye off and make it really hard to tell where the lines of the car are...like actually camouflage and unlike the usual nose glasses disguises mfctrs slap on.
