The rpms aren't the diesel give away for me with that duramax.. until I heard the blow off valve(s). yikes. sounds like a gas engine but with the diesels big air move. amazing. My concept of diesels is tractor trailers and low rpms. the day a relatives 3406 cat pulled away from my car while bobtailing at 1800rpms max, I knew that they hinder diesel more than promote it for race.1300ft lbs ought to be a very fast IC machine if setup to be one. My bet is on the v8s for trucks and big trucks and can't wait for the evolution. Anyone heard a v8 scania run? mack superliner? They are out there. This banks team is a winner just for working with the v8 diesel regardless of outcome. I am glad to see it is a good one.
