Proof that the Barons of Bland haven't converted all of Subaru's designers.

I think it'd look a lot better with 3-4 inches chopped out of the beltline and a grille that doesn't remind me of a CTS. But still, not a bad looking car.

For some reason I suspect we'll all look back 20 years from now and love Subaru's quirky styling, just like today's DOTs Datsun.

Subaru is one of the few brands where you can get non-FWD performance on a budget. I'd assume that their 3rd string styling team contributes heavily to the "on a budget" aspect, so I'm ok with it.

@imoody: They do sell Forresters, but the US version of Legacy wagon has been dropped in favor of the high ground clearance Outback. The sedans are all Legacies and the Outback (SUS) sedan is no longer available.

I have not been a fan of the Forrester since it was launced after the death of the Loyale.

Hahahahahah. They managed to get a droopy Accord butt on a wagon. That take real *skill*, man.

The only thing I can say in their defense is that they were copying the overall shape of the equally hideous Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution wagon: [www.seriouswheels.com]

Memo to Subaru: perform decimation on your stylists. That might motivate them to produce designs that aren't utter crap.
@cgarison: What? Don't they sell Forresters over there? Or the Legacy wagon?
