@R-GTI: The Veyron's 7-speed DSG would have had no probalo, but I'm guessing it wouldn't fit and/or would have belted the price into the ionosphere. Torque converter or not, I still wanna marry this car.

I thought Audi was aiming to develop a DSG to handle the RS6's obscene torque loads. Guess they ran out of time -- hence the Tiptronic.

i think the sedan will be around 90, the avant is probably 100K or north.
But for marketing purposes, say 99,998*

That's got to be one of the best looking engines I've seen in a production car in the last decade. None of that sissy plastic crap on top, it's not covered in a tangle of wires and odd hoses, it just fills up the whole engine bay perfectly.

Definitely the best that I've seen in the front of a car, and it gives all the mid engined exotics a run for their money too.

The RS6 is like all the good parts of the Cayanne and the Panamera, and none of the bad parts. It's kind of disturbing when Audi can get it so right, and Porsche can't.
