They tore down The Kahiki, which was an original 50's Polynesian Supper Club here in Columbus, Ohio of all places. The street it was on had several vacant lots, a closed Pizza Hut, etc, but no - they had to have the Kahiki location. I blame the owner as much as Walgreen's, but he had a heart attack, so it's one down, one to go. I personally have nothing but hatred (well, at least spite) for the company. Down with Walgreen's!!

They couldn't even get me through their door with a free $50 gift card offer! I'd take a 50% stake in the company, though, because then I could liquidate it.

I remember a great herd of rusty Ford Mavericks well into the late 80s. Too bad about the spike, they already ditched the trash sculpture for something bland.
