That's pretty cool, i'd get one if it was reasonably priced. Hope it weighs almost nothing otherwise 0-60 from 23hp would be now till next friday.

great design, if they can somehow get it to 60mph in 7 seconds or less they'll have a huge hit.

Cool? = Yes
Good 0-60? = Yes
Trunk? = Who cares? See above.
Leg room? = Who cares? see above.

catch my drift? Because competing with the honda insight is hard when there's the 192hp Hybrid Camry.

Give me this simple technology in a slightly larger, more conventional vehicle and I'll be interested. Yes, I know it will be slow. And it'll probably get "only" 80 mpg. Good enough for my commute.

That's Robert Q RILEY. And they've been doing this since Popular Mechanics was still called Mechanix Illustrated. One of their first car designs used an MG donor! And this isn't their first hybrid design; the first used a Kubota diesel engine, I think on VW chassis. Weird cool.
