The concept of this vehicle (triple wheels, ar-tic etc) was from my former boss Mr. Bob Forsyth of Vehicle Systems Development. Corp, Upland , CA. Bob and his brother were true gentlemen, extremely imaginative and had been working for Kelly Johnson at Lockheed's famous Skunk Works before founding VSDC. It was a real pleasure knowing and working for two creative engineers such as these gentlemen were!

Another reason the film made no sense is that in the original novel by Roger Zelazny, the hero of the piece was a Hells Angel - and in the film he was an army type (Major I think).
I really enjoyed the anti-establishment attitudes of the novel but the movie was such a disappoitment.
