MikeM, I didn't think it could get easier to modify the FXT. All the STI stuff just bolts on and with just a few of the WRX STI parts you'll be quicker than the WRX STI.

IppoJ

As a fan of the Legacy GT and GT Spec B, I'm all for the STi Legacy. And Forester STi.

Hell, I'd even buy a Tribeca STi, as long as it was fast as shit and handled like a rollercoaster.

TexansAreHot

Put me down for an STi Forester.

A friend who runs a Subaru speed parts business (http://www.kartboy.com) has a full STi swap into his Forester, complete with the electronic center diff, etc., and the car is a complete blast to drive. Makes for a pretty quick "shop truck"! ;-)

Of course like any good Subie owner, he isn't making stock horsepower either...

There is already a Forester STI in Japan.

http://www.subaru.co.jp/forester/stiversion/

The site is mostly in Japanese, but I can make out "265PS". PS = Horsepower.

Fifth Gear (UK) did a brief review of this vehicle last season, with rumors that it would be brought to the UK soon. It looked incredible going around the track. Corners very flat, and accelerates like a bat out of hell.

Now they just have to bring it over the pond for all of us to drool over.

MountainDrew

An STi Legacy would be rather sweet. So would a Forrester (those are some sweet pictures). What would make me happiest of all? Kill the Baja, make a real successor to the Brat and then do the STi thing to that. That I'd buy. Yesterday.

hooligan
