Rallies are long, multi-day competitions, but the stages themselves are relatively short. Something that runs twelve miles is seen as quite long. This stage is over 36 miles, and here it is onboard, in its entirety.
The WRC put out this 30-minute onboard from the recent Rally Sardinia with familiar New Zealander Hayden Paddon at the wheel of his Hyundai. John Kennard is reading the notes and they're on special stage 11, Monte Lerno. The stage runs a full 59,13 km, or 36.6 miles.
Just watching as the surface changes and blind corners tighten out of sight is exhausting. I can only imagine what it was like behind the wheel.
