The Corvette Museum Sinkholedrama made us cry. A lot. We're still crying. And now they've extracted the final Corvette, a 2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 from the wreckage. It ain't pretty.

What emerges slowly from the hole is the shell of a very mangled 2001 Corvette. A crushed and barely recognizable hull of a Corvette, it's tragic really.

If it isn't obvious to you, this is, without a doubt, the most heavily damaged of all the sinkhole Corvettes. Restoration of this car will be more "total rebuild" than "light polishing." This will not buff right out.
