For all of its bucket-list conceit, the act of driving a Lamborghini in Italy is the kind of thing I'd expect to go horribly wrong. It's far too loaded an event to meet expectations — like New Year's Eve in Sydney. But what do I know? I'm a cynic.

J.F. Musial is nowhere near as cynical. He's traipsing around the world trying to find the secret chord of automotive enthusiasm for his weekly YouTube show Driven. This week, the subject is four-decade Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni, who got his job by hanging around the company's Sant'Agata shop. He was just a kid making a nuisance of himself, and he ended up with the best job in the world.

Maybe sometimes, cynicism and enthusiasm are mutually exclusive.
