Carjackings in South Africa are surprisingly common, by American standards, to the point that security company ADT's local website offers helpful hints and tips on what to do when you are carjacked.

It's unclear as to why this driver in the city of Pretoria originally stopped, why they just backed up and drove away, whether or not their car was armored and if that was a factor in their decision in how to handle the situation (especially considering how popular that sort of thing is over there), or the degree to which they soiled their pants.
