This Is How They Fit Everything Into The Nissan ZEOD RC

The Nissan ZEOD RC, a hybrid-electric race car based on the crazy DeltaWing, is still a wonder of packaging, despite the tiny size of electric motors. This X-ray of the car (note: not a real X-ray, they are not looking to fry the drivers, I hope) shows just how they fit it all in.

The picture shows that unlike most other race cars, the Deltawing/ZEOD RC basically just out a driver in a seat and the engine just behind, and then shrink-wrapped an entire car to fit around all of it. Nothing is wider than it needs to be, none of the internal structure is bigger than it needs to be, and the only concessions to externalities are made in the name of aerodynamics.

For reference, here's what it looks like from the outside, plus a rainbow, because rainbows are the best goddamn thing in the world:

I was skeptical at first about electric race cars, but this just looks so much better.
